YOUR-PHOTOBUCKET-IMAGE-LINK-HERE" />A few weeks ago I had the privilege of photographing Rachel & Derek's beautiful wedding at Oak Farm Vineyards in Lodi, California. I only had a very short time to spend with this lovely young couple before their wedding day on May 31, 2014. The groom, an Airman in the United States Air Force, came back to Sacramento after several months in service in South Korea, and proposed to Rachel at the airport! The bride and groom went to the same high school, but actually met on Facebook when Derek was stationed in South Korea.
Rachel was a beautiful bride, and it was so much fun getting to know her and her family. I love her style, and her dress and accessories were gorgeous! Her bridesmaids wore the most adorable raspberry pink and soft ivory lace dresses. The wedding colors popped with a raspberry pink, bright green, and purple color palette. Oak Farm Vineyards, one of my favorite venues, made a beautiful classic country setting with their signature oak tree ceremony site, pond, and white barn reception. Every detail came together beautifully!
Rachel and Derek, thank you so much for the opportunity to meet you and to celebrate this wonderful occasion with you and your family! A special thank you to Carol, the bride's mother and family, for all of their lovely touches in planning and preparing for this special day, too. I wish you the best as you begin a new life together as husband and wife, and create a new family! Thank you for allowing me to capture your special wedding memories!
